BackSync Unites For A Good Cause
"It’s exciting and fun because it brings out a whole other personality that you wouldn’t necessarily do in your own group.”

That's what Nick Carter told Variety ahead of the epic half BSB / half *NSYNC collab performance at The Grove's 'Bingo Under The Stars' Event on Friday. The event, full of fans and people ready to jump on a return to normalcy after a year with no concerts, served as a celebration for Pride week, with a portion of ticket proceeds going to The Trevor Project

Along with a portion of ticket proceeds going to The Trevor Project, as well as all cover charges from the afterparty at Rocco's, Mission Tsuki, a coalition within the cryptocurrency market that both Lance and Nick have been big proponents for, donated $1M in Tsuki tokens to the cause as well!

While the event was an overwhelming success for philanthropic reasons, it was also a success for the overarching theme of "coming together", which Nick talked about being the main reason for this endeavor in his interview with Hollywood Life on Friday morning. While Pride month is to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community, it is also about acceptance and loving one another and we couldn't think of a better time for this collaboration of two bands who were pitted against each other to come together.

After performing Backstreet's "I Want It That Way" and *NSYNC's "Bye, Bye, Bye", Nick, Lance, AJ and Joey took the party to Rocco's to celebrate with everyone just a little bit longer for a night no one will forget anytime soon.

The morning after, it was nothing but love as Nick posted on his instagram: "The four of us joined forces to celebrate love, unity and acceptance. Thank you to everyone that supported in person and virtually. It’s more important than ever to spread love."

We can't wait to see more from these four (and more) very soon!

BackSync is totally inspring of coming together, which is a great way to celebrate union and acceptance for Pride. And I'm glad the event sold out and many fans who couldn't be there in person also made their donations to help the cause!
